Introduction of KEITI
Welcome to the KEITI website! The Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute (KEITI) is a government agency that seeks to improve the quality of life of the Korean people by helping the country assume global leadership in combating climate change and in environmental industries by facilitating the development and dissemination of green technologies and products, which are the key to green growth. In order to help develop green environmental technologies and nurture environmental industries, KEITI develops next-generation core technologies, conducts projects to contain soil contamination, supports environmental industries with exportation of their products, develops environmental talent, operates testing and certification systems for new environmental technologies, and gathers and disseminates information on environmental industries and technologies. KEITI also issues eco-labels and carbon footprint labels, supports businesses with their environmental business activities, and promotes green consumption to firmly establish sustainable production and consumption in Korean industry and society and help improve the environmental performance of products.
